Groupauto in Poland since 1999

Groupauto Poland (GA PL) was established in 1999 as a joint purchasing and marketing policy platform for independent car parts distributors oriented to serve local markets, and as such became an official Polish member of Groupauto International.

At the end of 2017, GA PL joined the Alliance Automotive Group (AAG), which is owned by the American Genuine Parts Company (GPC). The merger resulted in the largest aftermarket spare parts distributor in the world. Thanks to this transaction, GA PL became a part of an international group of companies that closely cooperate with each other, achieving synergy effect which significantly strengthened the company's position on the polish market.

In July 2022, the name of Groupauto Poland was changed to Groupauto Central Easten Europe (GA CEE), and at the beginning of 2023 GA CEE signed the first agreements with foreign members from Romania Auto Brand SRL and Conex Distribution SA.

Network of services

Groupauto CEE develops in Poland an international concept of the EuroGarage workshop chain, under the name Eurowarsztat. Currently, the network brings together nearly 8,500 workshops in Europe and over 240 workshops in Poland. In connection with the expansion of the group with a company specializing in the truck segment, since 2017 the Top Truck workshop network has been implemented in Poland.

Strategy of operation

The current and future development of Groupauto CEE is manifested both through the expansion of existing members and the incorporation of new independent companies. The group's strategy is also based on the development of service networks and the implementation of innovative IT projects for the independent market.
